Winter came suddenly and ferociously last fall and it hasn’t let up at all until just this week. It finally warmed up enough to form snowballs.
Of course, the first snowman needed to be built.
Neil helped the kids build it and Seth made the snowman’s face using popsicle sticks and a carrot.
The next day the sun came out. Melting was happening. Cheap popsicle sticks’ color ran.
Seth said, “The snowman looks sad.”
I had to agree.
Sad in a “just got beat up” sort of way.
Megan saw this as I was reading it and she says “why is there a sad snowman?” funny!
