It’s halloween and I have a baby bat in the house again.
This year’s bat wasn’t a huge fan of the bat hat. But look at those cheeks!
Eventually she got a little more into character and let the hat alone. She makes the most darling bat, don’t you think?
Of course all of my baby bats have been equally adorable.
It makes me a tiny bit sad to think that I will have no more baby bats. But maybe one day a nephew or a niece will be a little bat, I hope.
Happy Halloween everyone! We are taking some ninjas, a shark, and the aforementioned bat out this evening. I am, of course, looking forward to lots of tiny chocolate bars and bags of chips. It’s supposed to be a cold and rainy evening, so I’m not sure how long everyone will last, but when you’ve got three kids trick-or-treating you’re guaranteed a good haul no matter what. I love treats!
P.S. After yesterday’s crying baby nightmare of a day, my mom showed up to grant me some much-needed adult interaction and gave me a hand with the kids (thank you!!!!) and then….
Ivy slept through the night (TWELVE HOURS!!!) for the first time ever and then proceeded to have a two hour nap this morning. Needless to say I’m in a much better mood today!
